Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Going Dark Shop. This Refund Policy outlines how returns, refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with UK consumer protection laws.

1) Overview

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (UK), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for a full refund. This applies to most products purchased online. You do not need to provide a reason for cancellation, but the item must be returned in saleable condition.

2) Returns Eligibility

• Returns must be made within 14 days of delivery.
• Items must be unused, unopened and in their original packaging.
• You must include proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation or invoice).
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

3) How to Return an Item

1. Contact our team at shop@goingdark.uk to request a return.
2. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
3. We’ll provide a return authorisation and instructions on where to send your package.
4. Securely pack your item(s) and ship them using a tracked service.

4) Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we’ll send you an email to confirm receipt and approval (or rejection) of your refund. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Shipping costs (where applicable) are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or sent in error.

5) Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns or cancellations for certain types of goods, including:

• Custom or made-to-order products
• Perishable or time-sensitive goods
• Digital downloads or software licences
• Products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (if unsealed)

6) Faulty or Damaged Goods

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you. Please include photos of any damage for assessment.
